Coaching levels are recommended based on athlete needs, goals, and communication style.
Not all athletes require the same level of access or oversight.

  • Coaching levels are recommended based on the athlete’s age, training history, goals, and communication needs. Placement is guided during the consultation process.

  • Yes. Athletes may move between levels as their needs change throughout the season.

  • No. This is full coaching, including individualized training, feedback, long-term planning, pacing guidance, and season-long decision support.

  • Training and feedback are managed primarily through TrainingPeaks.

    • Development Coaching: one athlete and/or parent call per month; all other communication via TrainingPeaks

    • Performance Coaching: monthly call, TrainingPeaks communication, plus text/email

    • Elite/Mentorship Coaching: priority access across all communication channels

  • Yes. Parents are welcome to be included in scheduled calls and appropriate communication, especially for younger athletes.

  • Yes. In-person 1-on-1 sessions are available when appropriate. Some coaching levels include limited in-person sessions, and additional sessions may be added based on the athlete’s needs.

    Availability, frequency, and cost are discussed during the consultation.

    In-person sessions are used intentionally and are not required for effective coaching.

  • Yes. Coaching, consulting, and college recruiting is designed to complement high school team training while prioritizing long-term development.

  • Middle school and high school distance events, primarily 800m–5,000m, in cross country and track.

  • Coaching is billed monthly. Long-term consistency leads to the best outcomes, but no long-term contract is required.

  • Complete the coaching application. From there, we’ll determine fit and recommend the appropriate coaching level.
